I have always wanted to design and have been doing traditional fine art since the age of 3. I was born and raised in Washington, DC and still presently reside here. I went to West Elementary and then Alice Deal Junior High. From Deal I journeyed to Theodore Roosevelt Senior High and received my High School Diploma. This was the ground work for proceeding into my college life, in which I attended Dillard University. I got my first internship, while attending Dillard, at a Virginia based design firm known as 3HTechnology. This is where my love for digital design arose. Due to the lack of art and design courses offered at Dillard, I decided it would be of my best interest to transfer to The University of the District of Columbia. While attending UDC, I received countless design opportunities, as well as several internships. Once I felt that I had substantial design knowledge, I decided to go my own route and start freelancing. This is where I stand for now, and hope to excel and become a driving force in the Visual Art realm. | |

Being raised in Washington, DC, you have no choice but to learn the ways of the street, unless you're lucky. Growing up my peers and I had nothing but 2pac, Biggie, Rakim, and Dr. Dre blasting in our headphones and cars. Stylizing our clothes and becoming original was our only trend.
Not only was Hip Hop blasting in our headphones, but through the television waves as well. Hip Hop has not only influenced our economy but the world. Songs and videos portraying the struggles of being in a white dominated world and street life have dominated our cultural views on our way of living. Art and Poetry are my only mediums to truly express myself. From my style to my speech vernacular, I breed the voice of Hip Hop. And from this, my artistic vision is propelled.
